Midtown Madness 3 is a good old fashioned Mission based Driving Game that doesn't take itself seriously and is still pretty damn fun to play.

The campaign mode basically has you running through a series of mini missions ranging from delivery, Taxi Driving, Chauffeur, Paramedic, Police Officer & many more

One of the first things you notice with this game is the dreadful voice acting. They couldn't even get french people to voice the characters so you end up with cringe worthy impressions that actually adds charm to the game. This game has to played just for this alone.

However, this doesn't make up for the inevitable repetitive boredom that sets in after about 20 or so missions. By then you've experienced everything this game has to offer even if you try spicing it up by switching city it's still the same missions.

My biggest gripe is the time limits, at times they're so tight that just one crash can scupper any chance of success. what's worse is the game spawns more obstacles in the roads on the later missions so you're restarting many many times.

overall it's still a good game for the time, and did a good job of showing off what the XBOX could do, but ultimately leaves you feeling a bit flat after the initial thrill has worn off.
