Infinite Undiscovery

2008 - Square Enix - Tri-Ace

Infinite Undiscovery is an action RPG published by Square Enix for the Xbox 360. This was from a series of games made exclusively for Microsoft and is actually pretty good.

As with most Square games, the first couple of hours are mostly story with small pockets of action mixed in to get you familiar with the controls and I did find myself questioning whether this was going to be for me, but eventually the game dumps you on the world map and leaves you to your own devices and this is when the game opens up.

If you're willing to give it the time, you won't regret it. The characters, story & world are pure Square-enix, and could easily fit in alongside the Final Fantasy Franchise.

It's a shame this game was overlooked back when it launched because the Xbox 360 really did have some excellent RPG's and this one is definitely near the top of the list.

It's also backward compatible on Xbox One and a used copy isn't that expensive to pick up so grab it if you see it.
